In the framework of the Piano di Valorizzazione of the Ministry of Culture, the Museum invites everyone to enjoy the special late openings on Friday 20 and 27 June, 5, 12, and 19 September and 3 October.
The doors will be open until 23.30 (last entrance at 22.30) and the ticket will have a special price of 5 euros from 19.00 onwards (except for those who are eligible for free entry or 2 euro reduced tickets).
Do not miss the opportunity, treat yourself to an art-night!
Do not miss the temporary exhibition: Recovered treasures: stories of crimes and smuggled relics, that reveals the dynamics underpinning the illicit trade in cultural objects and the irreversible damage suffered by heritage.
On display an extraordinarily heterogeneous selection of about 600 artefacts, from the Archaic Age to the Middle Ages, from Southern Italy and beyond: pottery, bronze objects, figurative terracottas, marble decorations, underwater finds and Greek, Roman and medieval coins.
